Real Aussie Kids Junior Cycling
Real Aussie Kids (RAK) is a highly successful Junior Development Road Cycling Program for athletes aged between 15 to 19 years. The RAK program, founded in 2003, is a feeder system to the world of professional cycling. This non-profit organisation identifies promising young cyclists and equips them with the life skills required to pursue a career at an elite level, whilst providing for life after the sport through ensuring academic and personal development.
Simply put we want our Athletes to "be their best .....what ever they do".
The centre piece of the program is the annual six week overseas training camp. For the past five years the camp has been based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where the riders are exposed to the rigors of living, training and racing in team environment, learning the skills and responsibilities of domestic duties whilst maintaining their studies, training and a solid racing schedule.

How did you get into triathlon - I watched an aquathon at Glenelg in Adelaide and thought it looked fun
so I joined a club and went from there.

Noosa 2008 was an awesome race, everything went to plan and I ended up
finishing third behind our two Olympic medalists.
Favorite Event - I enjoy both Noosa and Mooloolaba they are well organized and in
stunning locations.

My Argon18 Gallium. It not only performs well it looks cool too!
What other sports do you follow or participate in -
I enjoy watching cricket and AFL. Unfortunately with the time demands
of triathlon I am pretty limited to swiming, riding and running. I
work for Deloitte as an accountant so sometimes I fill in at corporate
events like the Foxtel lap and the JDRF ride to cure diabeties.
